Obviously for US strategic interests, a healthy dose of latin american self-determination and thumbing nose at the Monroe Doctrine is far more damaging then some bloke in a cave.&lt;/p&gt;      &lt;p&gt;What i find strange is that the bush administration's attempts at portraying Venezuala as some hotbed of 'turra' have been laughable at best.
